Executive Information Technology, Cyber and Space Leader.

The Space Force has been granted authority to commission civilian cyber talent directly into our officer ranks using Constructive Service Credit (CSC). If you are a cyber/IT professional in industry or a government civilian and want to serve your country as a uniformed active duty Guardian, this may be an awesome opportunity for you! CSC allows us to evaluate your education, cyber/IT work experience and certifications to commission you in at a rank from 1st Lieutenant to Colonel. This is truly a unique opportunity to help us solve complex problems and stand up our digital service. If you’re interested in exploring - feel free to reach out to Aine Nakai. Next week, #cyber #opportunity #talent Aine will be at booth 110 at the Space Symposium in Colorado Springs. Semper Supra! #cyberguardians #spacesymposium Very excited to see all the interest in CSC! Thank you for all the questions...here are some answers: - Initial commitment is 4 years - There is no reserve/guard options at this time - Current reserve officers are not eligible - Must meet military service requirements and be eligible for Top Secret clearance - Must attend Officer Training School (8 weeks) - Full military officer requirements include medical & physical fitness - Jobs are "mostly" in the Colorado and DC areas today, but the force is growing and moving is required as needed although we work hard to limit - Program for enlisted guardians to apply is coming soon If you're ready to be considered, email your resume to Major Adrian Law at adrian.law@spaceforce.mil. He works for the recruiting service and can answer specifics to your situation. DEADLINE for submitting resumes to Maj Law or Aine Nakai for this 1st round is 13 Apr 22!

I'm extremely interested in this! I've got a decent stack of certifications and experience doing cyber assessments on space and aerospace systems. My team is also dead set on making it to finals in Hack-a-Sat 3 this year too. I'm a traditional reservist though, so I'm not really sure if that qualifies. Is there someone I can DM about this opportunity John Smail, CISSP ?

What are the criteria for the different levels of ranks? I'm assuming something along the lines of years of experience and certifications?

Robert Kendall

Software and System Architect / Information Security Professional / CISM / POPM / TS-SCI

What if you were accepted into the Space Force while in the Army as a IBT, then separated from Active Duty? Lol

What is the age limit? Upper limit 39?

Great opportunity, I would hope that age in this day and age wouldn't be a problem.
